Hi! I'm Rachel, Co-Founder of A-Team Tutors. In 2020, I completed my B.Sc. in Biomedical Science at York University and in 2024 I completed my M.Sc. in Biology. I have four years of Teaching Assistant (TA) experience and over 7 years of private tutoring experience.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Intermediate/Senior (I/S) Education, specializing in Biology and Chemistry as my teachable subjects. I am training to become certified by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT), further solidifying my expertise in science education for youth and enhancing my ability to inspire the next generation of S.T.E.M. learners!

I created A-Team Tutors to pursue my passion for teaching science while ensuring students receive exceptional, high-quality education. The key to real progress is inspiration, and witnessing my student's achieve academic transformation is the most rewarding part of my job!

Jenna Baffa, B.Sc., M.HSc.

Hi! I'm Jenna, Co-Founder of A-Team Tutors. I graduated in 2020 with my Bachelors in Biomedical Science and in 2022 with my Master of Health Science from UofT, specializing in clinical embryology. Currently I’m working as an embryologist. During my Masters, I worked as a teaching assistant, creating lectures and hosting teaching sessions for students.

Knowing that I was able to help even a single student understand any one concept, improve their grade, or gain an appreciation for the course material was rewarding and fulfilling, which is why I decided to co-found A-Team Tutors!
